Granny Tourismo

Meet the world’s 1ST (and, as far as we know, still the only) Shopping Trolley Dance Display Team – Granny Turismo! Since 2009 we’ve caused a stir on our suped-up trolleys at shopping centres, high streets, festivals, parades (ooh… we do love a parade), and for many other unexpected delights! Our show is part walkabout, part circle show, a pinch of chaos – but mostly just us having a lovely time! We bring a mix of enthusiastic dance routines, bad attitudes, questionable decision-making, and surprise impact that’s enjoyed at all manner of events and festivities. Our trolleys are fitted with impressive, wirelessly linked PA systems (don’t ask us how it works), and we play our music (very!) loudly and proudly – light classical dubstep, old skool hip hop, riddim bangers and whatever else the kids are calling it nowadays! Oooh! …and did you know there’s up to six of us? We’re told it creates an “intimidating presence”… which we find absolutely delightful! It seems the show has a bit of something for everyone… people smile, people dance, and more often than not people end up rather fond of Granny Turimso. PS … yes we can do Halloween, Xmas etc… too!
